Carl W. Fye, 73, of LaHarpe, Illinois, passed away at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2023, at the home of his brother in Olena, Illinois.Carl was born June 19, 1950, in Burlington, the son of Samuel and Frances (McGraw) Fye. He was raised and educated in Oquawka, Illinois.Carl married Linda Nees in Monmouth, Illinois, on June 29, 1972, and she passed away May 29, 2004.He worked in construction, farming and later worked as a manager traveling to job sites for Artic Insulation for 15 years.Carl enjoyed fishing, drinking with friends and family, being outdoors and just spending time with his family.Survivors include his three sons, Bill (Jessie) Fye of Kirkwood, Illinois, Tim Fye and Sean Fye both of LaHarpe; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Clifford (June) Fye, Paul (Sandy) Fye and Carol (Marshall) Albert all of Kansas, Vallie (Ben) Mohnike, Everett (Lena) Fye, Kenny (Deb Teel) Fye and Truman Fye all of Illinois; sister-in-law, Sally Johnson of Illinois;
