M. Louise Kick, 93, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth. Louise was born Sept. 17, 1930 in Clover Bend, AR. the daughter of Joseph E. and Beulah E. (Whitmire) Graham. She was raised and educated in Clover Bend. Louise married Troy R. Kick in Egypt, AR on Oct 11, 1946. Louise worked at Benner Tea. Co for 6 years, the 2nd National Bank for 2 years and then Community National Bank for 33 years retiring as Assistant Cashier in 1997. She was a member of the Church of Christ and later Gerlaw Christian Church, Monmouth Business & Professional Women’s Club, several banking organizations and served as Monmouth City Treasurer. Survivors include her 2 daughters, Barbara Kick Lyons of Sarasota, FL, and Betty J. Kick of Naperville, IL; granddaughter, Christa L. (Mike) Cook of Little York; grandson, M. Jay Lyons of Gerlaw; great grandsons, Zachary M. Cook of Moline, IL and Bradley A.
