Beverly J. Earp, age 91, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at her residence on Friday January 10, 2025 at 11:39 am. Beverly was born on July 19, 1933 in Buffalo, Missouri and is the daughter of Vernon and Mabel Clevenger Gott. Beverly attended Henderson County Schools and graduated from Little York High School with the class of 1951. She married Weldon Oliver Earp on April 22, 1951 in Belville, Illinois and he preceded her on November 4, 2008. Beverly began work as a waitress at " Park & Eat " restaurant in Monmouth, but for the majority of her days, has been a " farm wife " assisting her husband on their farm north of Monmouth. He and she owned and operated Dun-Rovid Eggery on Highway 67 for thirty years, from 1961 to 1991. Beverly also served on the Illinois Egg Board for ten years and is the first woman in the State of Illinois to have an Applicators License.
