Helen E. Hull, age 88, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at 1:45 pm on Friday January 24, 2025 at Alure of Lake Story in Galesburg, Illinois. Helen was born on June 1, 1936 in Burlington, Iowa and is the daughter of Martin P. and Lela M. McNamee. She was raised in Gladstone where she attended school and graduated from G & O High School in 1954. After High School Helen served her country entering the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. Helen was a member of Ana Vicus of the Special Forces during her service. Helen married Raymond D. " Tiny " Hull on August 4, 1956 in Monmouth, Illinois. He preceded her on November 9, 2021. Helen was first employed as a phone operator for General Telephone in Monmouth. She then worked as a seamstress at Formfit company also in Monmouth. After that she was a sales clerk at Spurgeons department store in Monmouth.
