Thomas “Tom” Edward Currier, age 86, formerly of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully on February 05, 2025 at Goldwater Care, Roseville, IL. Tom was born July 23, 1938 in Cleveland, OH. Tom was a graduate of Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He earned his Masters from the University of Delaware and went on to graduate from George Washington University Law School.  Tom spent his early career working for DuPont and later worked in Rockford, IL for Pierce Chemical Company and eventually his own Law practice. Tom also was elected to serve for many years as the Winnebago County Board Chairman. In addition to Tom’s admirable career, he also loved to golf, ski and travel. Tom rarely missed watching any of his favorite sport’s teams on television. Tom was a proud Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Ohio State University Buckeye fan.
