Elizabeth Anne Liby, 79, of Monmouth, IL was called to home at 10:30 a.m. on February 7, 2025.She was born June 29, 1945, at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg, IL the daughter of Charles Kenneth and Helen Marie (Cole) Clifford. She was raised and educated in Knoxville, IL, graduating from Knoxville High School in 1963. She was a Blue Bullet fan.Anne married David Lee Liby in Abingdon, IL at the Methodist Church on August 16, 1964. He passed away on April 12, 2010. They had four daughters, Elleen (Albert) McLaughlin, Leesa (Rex) Farmer, Janet (Kirby) Holmberg and Linda (Alex) Spiker.She worked for Formfit/Smoler, Kelley & Breen Cleaners, and Kmart. After Kmart’s closing, she attended Carl Sandburg College, graduating and receiving her LPN License in 1993. She worked at the Roseville Nursing Home, retiring in 2010.
